Sushi Kuni

Dropped in for Two bento boxes. Dynamite with Chicken and California with Beef. You can see in the picture what a quality product they served as take out. The deep fried parts were perfect bite sized pieces. The salad was great, The sushi was perfect only thing missing in my opinion was ginger slices. I Would repeat this anytime. Thank You.

A Hidden Gem in Chemainus! We had a wonderful meal at this small takeout sushi place with our family of three. From sushi to tempura, and even Korean style fried chicken, everything was absolutely delicious. Even though it's a takeout-only spot, the owner served us water, which was a nice touch and truly appreciated. This place may be small and simple, but the care and freshness of the fish were impressive. While we were eating, the phone kept ringing with orders, and the place seemed to be quite popular in the neighborhood. I was hesitant to visit after reading some negative reviews, but after experiencing the friendly service and amazing food, I was completely taken aback. It was such a pleasant surprise! The tempura, in particular, was outstanding—truly the best I’ve had in a long time. The freshness and quality of the food made it a perfect meal, and if I’m ever back in Chemainus, I will definitely return. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves fresh and tasty Japanese food!

Close to Ferry and some other shops.. I love the Sushi! It was delicious! They don't have a dine area the last we were there. So, we just did a take out. We are ordering back if going to Chemainus.

We went to try the Korean fried chicken. We got a half order of boneless yangnyeom. It was pretty good, probably the best I've had in Chemainus, but not quite as crispy as other spots in Vancouver and Victoria. However, the seasoning was spot on with enough spice to make it pop, but not enough to hurt Finally, the service was friendly and efficient, no complaints there.

We had a ferry to catch in a matter of minutes, and they were the only place open nearby. We told them our situation, they looked at the clock, and said it will be tight but they could do it. And off they went! It was like an Olympic event, them dashing around to put together our order. I was getting nervous, but thankfully, you can actually see the ferry from their restaurant. Not only did they finish our food just in time, but it was delicious! Well done, yum yum!!! And the prices are fair.
